✨ THE SAUCE TAKES OVER THE MAH ✨

For one extraordinary night, the Sauce is transforming all three floors of the Museum of Art and History into a Saucy affair with music, art, connection, interactive workshops, and pop-up events throughout the museum - including experiences tucked into unexpected corners and even inside exhibits!

Come wander, dance, meet someone new, learn about yourself, cuddle, follow your curiosity, and see what you discover.

This is The Sauce in a completely new setting: multi-level, modern, art-filled space where you can move between high-energy dancing, interactive experiences, intimate connection, and all the unique encounters that happen when a few hundred people come together with the intention to connect.

6:00 PM - NEWCOMER SOCIAL + COURTYARD WELCOME

New to the Sauce? Come at 6pm to our private courtyard! Come mingle before the museum opens and join our Newcomer Welcome with some facilitated ways to meet other new people and get acquainted.

7:00 PM - MUSEUM DOORS OPEN

Arrive, check in, explore our pop-up happy hour delights, get settled, snack up, and connect.

7:25 PM - DOORS CLOSE ⚠️ DUE TO THE NATURE OF THE EVENT, THERE IS NO LATE ARRIVAL

For safety and depth of connection, this is a closed-container event. Please leave enough time to park, walk, check-in at the door, and get yourself situation. 

7:30 PM - OPENING CIRCLE

We will all gather downstairs for the Opening Dance Party with Bez Stone and go over our rules and events for the evening. 

7:45 PM - LET THE PARTY BEGIN!

MUSIC + DANCING ALL NIGHT LONG

Our large downstairs lobby will be a dance floor, with DJ's playing throughout the night.

• Avira Pearl will start us off with upbeat, hot-AF, dance-club energy
• Miss Money 2 will end the night with a sexy downtempo closing set

Happening the while night on all three floors of the museum, including inside and around exhibits. Expect a mix of structured hour-long workshops in our workshops space plus pop-up offerings:

We'll begin closing the upper areas while the music and connection continue downstairs so our strike crews can begin their work and we can keep the party going later!

To connect with ourselves and each other in a space that is intentional, with permission to be daring, where consent is the culture, and everyone is there to be real.

THE SAUCE IS A SEXY PARTY - NOT A SEX PARTY

This event is an intentional, pleasure-centered event that blends group activities like kink, intimacy, movement, sensual touch, social connection, and a sober, sexy dance party. It is NOT a play party. 

The boundaries of the Sauce are:

• No intoxication, drugs, or alcohol. This is a sober event.

• No touching genitals with hands, faces, or mouths, even through clothing. Consensual bumping and grinding is fine.

• Increase your consent practices with strangers: communicate explicitly, pay attention to body language, and don't assume familiarity or interest. If you sense disinterest, move on; if you're not interested, clearly end the interaction.

• Topless-optional event as per Santa Cruz city ordinances - an exposed chest doesn't indicate any level of consent for touch or interaction.

• Bottoms must stay on - bottoms of some kind must stay on at all times. Underwear and thongs are fine.

• Kinky spaces are PG-13 for playful exploration and must stay within the Sauce container.

Every Sauce has a dress-up theme because it's FUN!

This month, since we're taking over a museum, let's get a little hoity-toity and fancy.

Think velvet, lace, corsets, pearls, vests, stockings, top hats, and anything that makes you feel like you've wandered into a particularly scandalous Victorian affair.

Elegant. Sexy. Dramatic. Proper. Improper.

Do people really dress up for the Sauce? YES! Some people even craft their own costumes just for us. Think Burning Man, lingerie, playful, subtle, elaborate, or completely over-the-top - the point is to feel good about yourself and have fun with it.

Dressing up is optional. BUT... how often do we get to take over a museum in downtown Santa Cruz and have a night like this? I think you should go for it.
